This Blue Devils team is considered by many to be the greatest team to not win a National Championship. The team featuring Elton Brand and Shane Battier, dismantled their opponents throughout the season. Duke wasn’t pushed at all in the first four rounds of the NCAA Tournament, never winning by less than 17 points, and they topped Michigan State by six in the Final Four to set up a date with UConn for the title. The Huskies took the win by 3 despite being a 9.5 underdog. It is still the largest upset versus the point spread in a NCAA Championship game.
